Registration Overview
Welcome to the Steinhoff Shareholder Proceeding online registration portal.
If you bought shares in Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. (Steinhoff) or its predecessor Steinhoff International Holdings Limited (SIHL) between 26 June 2013 and 6 December 2017 (inclusive),
you can use this portal to join the group proceeding against the company.
If your financial institution has offered to assist you in joining this claim, you do not need to use this portal. Please instead follow the instructions given to you by your financial institution.
The Dutch law firm BarentsKrans will bring a claim against Steinhoff on behalf of shareholders who suffered losses related to Steinhoff’s public announcements dated 5 December 2017 and 6 December 2017. The proceeding will be funded by Claims Funding
Europe and brought by a special purpose vehicle which has been established for the Steinhoff Shareholder Proceeding.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible.
To register, please click the “Begin Registration” button below and then provide us with your contact details and trade data. Once you have done this we will conduct a preliminary check of your eligibility and if you are eligible, email to
ask you to:
- Send us scanned copies of documents that evidence your holdings and transactions in Steinhoff or SIHL;
- Sign an assignment agreement that we will send to you and return it to us;
- If you are registering on behalf of a company, partnership, trust, or co-owners, provide proof that you have the authority to enter into the assignment agreement. We will send you more information about how to do this once you have completed the online
registration form.

Eligible Shareholders
You are only eligible to join the proceeding in respect of ordinary shares in Steinhoff or SIHL acquired during the period 26 June 2013 and 6 December 2017, inclusive. The proceeding will not cover preference shares or derivative financial instruments
such as contracts for difference, swaps, options and warrants.
Institutional Investors
Institutional investors need only register their contact details online at this stage, and will be contacted to provide further information.
